Claude Haiku Latest cuts input and output pricing by 90%
Anthropic's Claude Haiku Latest has dropped from $1 to $0.1 per 1M input tokens, and from $5 to $0.5 per 1M output tokens, according to OpenRouter's model listing. That is a tenfold reduction on both sides of the meter.
What it means for a SaaS brand
Cheap inference means more AI answer engines and agents can afford to crawl, summarise and re-check pages at volume, so your content gets read more often and stale pages get re-read sooner. If you run your own retrieval or content pipelines on Haiku, budget headroom has gone up tenfold, making it viable to re-evaluate your full site rather than a sample.
