Claude pricing page adds Fable 5.1 and Opus 5.5 rates
Anthropic's pricing docs now list Claude Fable 5.1 at $10/MTok input and $50/MTok output, with Claude Opus 5.5 at $4/MTok input and $20/MTok output, down from the $5/$25 of the Opus 5 and 4.x line. Claude Sonnet 5.5 sits at $2/$10 and Claude Haiku 4.5 at $1/$5, with cache hits and refreshes at $0.20/MTok on both. The page also notes that Claude 4.7 and later use a newer tokeniser producing roughly 30% more tokens for the same text.
What it means for a SaaS brand
Headline input rates on the newer models are lower, but the tokeniser change means the same prompt bills more tokens, so recost any high-volume monitoring or content pipeline against actual usage rather than the per-million figure. If you run brand visibility checks at scale, Claude Haiku 4.5 at $1/MTok input is the cheapest route for bulk prompt sweeps, with prompt caching on a fixed prompt template cutting repeat costs further.
