Claude Haiku 5.5 listed with a 1M token context window
Anthropic's Claude Haiku 5.5 appeared on OpenRouter's model list on 7 October 2026, succeeding Claude Haiku 4.5. It is the small, fast tier aimed at high-volume, cost-sensitive work such as summarisation, subagents and browser use, with stronger coding and computer use than its predecessor. Context window is 1,000,000 tokens, at $0.1 per 1M input tokens and $0.5 per 1M output tokens.
What it means for a SaaS brand
Cheap, fast models with large context windows make it economical to run assistants and browser agents that read whole pages rather than snippets, so your full product, pricing and docs pages are more likely to be ingested in one pass.
