Content Engineering Manager (WriteWorks)
The Role
We build WriteWorks, our content engineering platform for AI search. We're hiring a Content Engineering Manager to own how clients and our own team get the most out of it: turning research and prompts into citation-ready content, and proving the lift across AI engines. This is a 12-month contract role at the intersection of content, SEO and product. SaaS experience is preferred.
What You'll Do
- Direct the research → brief → review → measure loop inside WriteWorks for client accounts
- Use the three optimisation lenses (SEO, AI Search, Brand) to ship citation-ready content
- Build intent-anchored prompt research and content briefs
- Track citations, share of voice and AI-referred sessions, and report the lift
- Feed product insights back to the WriteWorks team to improve the platform
- Help onboard clients onto WriteWorks and document best practice
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in SaaS content or SEO with strong writing and editing skills, including ownership of a content programme
- Comfortable with content tooling and analytics; fast to learn new platforms
- Understanding of AI search / GEO and what makes content citable
- SaaS experience and clear communication
Nice to Have
- Experience with content engineering or AI-search platforms
- Light technical skills (markdown, structured data, basic HTML)
- Prompt engineering familiarity
