GLM Latest halves input price, raises output to $8 per 1M
Z.ai has rebalanced pricing for GLM Latest on OpenRouter. Input tokens fell from $0.08 to $0.04 per 1M, while output tokens rose from $5 to $8 per 1M. Reading is now cheaper, generating is considerably dearer.
What it means for a SaaS brand
If you run GLM Latest for visibility monitoring or large-context analysis of your own content, the cost of feeding it long documents has dropped, so wider crawls and bigger prompt contexts get cheaper. Long-form generation jobs, such as bulk answer sampling or content drafting, will cost noticeably more, so check which side of that split your pipeline sits on before the next billing cycle.
