GLM Latest cuts input price, raises output to $12 per 1M
Z.ai changed pricing for GLM Latest on OpenRouter. Input dropped from $0.04 to $0.03 per 1M tokens, while output rose from $8 to $12 per 1M tokens. The model is now cheaper to feed and considerably more expensive to generate from.
What it means for a SaaS brand
If you run GLM Latest for answer-generation work such as drafting or long-form synthesis, your per-run cost climbs by half, so recheck the budget on any always-on monitoring or content pipeline. Retrieval-heavy jobs that push large prompts and return short answers get slightly cheaper, which favours moving more context in and keeping outputs tight.
