GLM 5.2 cuts input price, raises output to $12 per 1M
Z.ai has repriced GLM 5.2 on OpenRouter. Input falls from $0.171 to $0.0883 per 1M tokens, while output rises from $7.2 to $12 per 1M tokens. The model is now considerably cheaper to feed and considerably more expensive to generate from.
What it means for a SaaS brand
If you run GLM 5.2 for brand visibility monitoring or large-scale prompt testing, the cost now sits almost entirely in generated tokens, so cap response lengths and avoid verbose reasoning output. Long-context jobs that stuff in docs, sitemaps or competitor pages got cheaper, so front-load context rather than asking for long answers.
