Reddit and community presence

Why community discussion outranks your marketing site
A buyer asking which tool to choose is asking a question your marketing site is structurally unable to answer credibly, because you are the seller. Community threads contain unpaid practitioners describing what broke, what scaled and what they migrated away from, which is the substance an assistant needs to write a useful comparison.
Reddit in particular has properties that make it exceptionally retrievable: threaded discussion, visible consensus signals, long-lived pages, and near-total category coverage. A five-year-old thread comparing tools in your category is still being cited today.
This is also the source category where the gap between what works and what is commonly sold is widest. Astroturfing is trivially detectable by the communities themselves, and the reputational cost of being caught is permanent and public.
What the programme actually involves
Find out what is already being said
Map the threads that currently get cited for your category. Usually there are fewer than twenty, and most companies have never read them.
Correct the factual record, transparently
Wrong pricing, missing features, outdated limitations. Answered openly, with disclosed affiliation, which the communities accept and reward.
Genuine practitioner participation
Your engineers and product people answering questions in their own name because they know the answer. Slow, unscalable, and the only thing that actually works.
Earning the comparison threads
Being the tool someone recommends unprompted is a product and support outcome as much as a marketing one. We are explicit about which levers sit outside marketing.
Monitoring what changes
Tracking which threads move into and out of assistant citations for your prompt set, so the work is directed by evidence rather than by which subreddit feels important.
What we will not do, and why
This is the part of AI search where buying the outcome is cheapest, most tempting and most damaging. The exposure sits with your brand, not with your advisor, so we would rather be explicit before you buy than after.
We do not astroturf, ever
No fake accounts, no undisclosed affiliation, no paid endorsement presented as organic. It is detectable, communities punish it publicly and permanently, and the exposure sits with your brand rather than ours.
This is slow, and we will say so before you buy it
Community credibility is earned over quarters. Anyone promising Reddit visibility in weeks is describing something you should not want.
Some of the work is not marketing work
If the threads are negative because of a real product or support problem, no community programme fixes that. We will tell you what we are seeing.

G2, Capterra and GetApp all sit in the ten most-cited domains for B2B SaaS prompts, with G2 second only to Reddit. Assistants treat review marketplaces as structured, comparable, third-party evidence, which is precisely what a vendor's own site cannot be.
