Digital PR Specialist
The Role
We're hiring a Digital PR Specialist to drive high-authority link acquisition and brand visibility for B2B SaaS clients. This is a 12-month contract role. B2B SaaS or B2B tech experience is strongly preferred — you need to understand how to tell compelling stories about software products to journalists, publishers, and industry communities who write about enterprise tech, productivity, data, and the future of work. You'll lead digital PR campaigns that earn editorial coverage in tier-1 publications, building domain authority and brand credibility for our SaaS clients.
What You'll Do
- Plan and execute data-led and reactive digital PR campaigns that earn editorial links and brand mentions
- Build and maintain media contact lists across tech, business, and SaaS-specific publications
- Conduct journalist outreach for original research, thought leadership, and newsworthy campaign angles
- Identify reactive PR opportunities and pitch rapidly — staying ahead of news cycles in the SaaS and tech space
- Collaborate with content strategists to develop linkable asset campaigns (research reports, tools, surveys)
- Build relationships with journalists, editors, and industry influencers in the B2B tech space
- Monitor campaign performance and report on link acquisition, domain rating growth, and media coverage metrics
- Support exec visibility strategy: ghostwritten comment pieces, podcast outreach, award submissions
- Conduct competitor backlink gap analysis to identify target publications and link opportunities
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in digital PR, link building, or earned media roles — B2B SaaS or B2B tech experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of earning editorial links and coverage in tier-1 and tier-2 media publications
- Strong written communication skills — ability to craft compelling pitches and press angles for tech topics
- Experience with journalist database tools and outreach workflows
- Understanding of how digital PR connects to SEO outcomes (domain authority, link equity, brand search volume)
- Comfortable managing multiple outreach campaigns simultaneously across different client accounts
Nice to Have
- Specific experience in B2B SaaS PR or enterprise tech PR
- Existing relationship network with journalists in the B2B tech / SaaS space
- Familiarity with data-led PR: using original research and survey data to drive coverage
- Basic understanding of SEO metrics: domain rating, referring domains, link equity, anchor text strategy
