CRO Analyst
The Role
We're looking for a CRO Analyst to drive conversion rate improvements across client websites, landing pages, and onboarding flows. This is a 12-month contract role. B2B SaaS experience is strongly preferred — you should understand how SaaS buyers evaluate products, what drives demo bookings and free trial activations, and the specific friction points in B2B signup funnels. You'll run hypothesis-driven experimentation programmes delivering measurable uplift in demo conversions, trial signups, and MQL volume.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive conversion audits on client websites and product signup flows
- Develop experimentation roadmaps prioritised by impact, confidence, and effort
- Design, set up, and analyse A/B and multivariate tests using experimentation platforms
- Use session recordings, heatmaps, and user behaviour analytics to surface friction points
- Collaborate with paid media and SEO teams to optimise post-click landing page experiences
- Build and maintain GA4 funnels, event tracking, and conversion goals
- Produce test result reports with clear statistical significance analysis and recommendations
- Develop insight-driven copy, layout, and UX recommendations for developers and designers
- Present CRO roadmaps and test results to client stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years in CRO, digital experimentation, or UX analytics roles — B2B SaaS experience preferred
- Hands-on experience running A/B tests in VWO, Optimizely, or similar, ideally on SaaS marketing sites or product signup flows
- Strong understanding of statistical significance, sample sizes, and test validity
- Proficient with GA4: events, funnels, audience segments, conversions
- Comfortable working with heatmaps, session recordings, and qualitative data
- Understanding of B2B SaaS conversion journeys: trials, demos, PLG onboarding
Nice to Have
- Experience with personalisation platforms (Dynamic Yield, Mutiny)
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for implementing test variations
- Familiarity with user research methods: surveys, interviews, 5-second tests
- Experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap)
